Getting started - The web design process explained !

What are your needs?

A meeting between Kinetic Mix and the client is arranged for an initial discussion and to brainstorm about the website design, functionality, budget and timing requirements. This can be done in person or through email and telephone.

Proposal

The proposal is compiled by Kinetic Mix, after collating the full client brief, which details web and graphic design ideas, amount of pages, self updateable sections, the final price, and the production processes required to achieve the end result. Kinetic Mix document the key phases of the project, timing and invoice plans through to completion.

Approval & Contract

Once the client is satisfied with the Kinetic Mix proposal, a contract is signed to commence with website design.

Screenshots Designed

The graphic and website design is then started, several separate visuals/screenshots are designed, and are presented to the client, and once a preferred design idea is chosen, the concept is further developed ready for coding.

Website Design Build

The website is then coded, functionality is programmed, and site content added, and website design is completed.

Evaluation

The website is thoroughly tested for errors and bugs, for instance, to ensure restricted areas are properly secure.

Final Delivery

The website is loaded to the final webspace and connected to your domain name where it will appear live on the Internet.

Future Website Maintenance

You may have a password protected area so you can have the flexibility to modify the website text and images easily and rapidly yourself without any programming skills whatsoever. If you prefer Kinetic Mix to make the changes, I will be happy to put a maintenance package in place or charge you on an hourly basis as and when you need modifications.
